Starting all the way back to 2006 when he had just one start in the US, twelve years later trainer Antonio Sano reached another milestone getting his 600th victory in the United States. “What an honor, can’t do it without the support of my family, owners, friends, my incredible team, and these beautiful animals.” Since 2011, Sano has won at least 50 races and this year is on pace to keep that streak alive with 35 visits to the winner circle already.

The Venezuelan native is having one of the best seasons in his career as a trainer, thanks in big part to the fantastic Gunnevera who finished second in the G1 Woodward last week at the Spa. “Horse came back in good shape from the Woodward, we are looking forward to his next start.”
